19 weeks and 20 weeks

How far along? Half way, 20 weeks
How big is baby? Average size: 9oz, Length: 6in (crown to rump)

What is baby doing this week? Babyzone.com says "By week 20, your baby-to-be is gearing up for the next phase in her development—filling out. Her organs are getting into their proper places. Her kidneys are now in position with their familiar bean shape. Her ovaries have reached their position. Her brain continues to form and grow. Herr teeth are beginning to appear, and she can swallow. If you haven't been able to feel him move, chances are you'll be feeling him move more and more over the coming weeks."

What is going on in mama? Growing steadily as I should.

Symptoms: Nothing really.  Random bouts of hunger.

Total weight gain: It has continued to slow down.

Maternity clothes: Dresses and leggings.  I'm not a huge fans of maternity pants.

Sleep: Fine I suppose.  Sweating and weird dreams have started up.

Best moment last week: Feeling Brody more consistently.

Movement: I'm starting to notice a pattern like I did with Ava.  Brody is mid-morning and later in the afternoon.

Cravings: Still rocking the healthy eating.  No desire for sweets really!

Belly Button in or out: Slowly creeping closer to the surface.

What I miss:  Sometimes I feel like this body is someone else's.  Each time I pass a mirror  I think WHO IS THAT???

What I am looking forward to: More actual kicks and less flutters.  Although, I will probably regret this later!

Milestones: It is all down hill now!

How is daddy? He's still the greatest!

What is going on in mama? Growing steadily as I should.

Symptoms: Nothing really.  I 'm still feeling great!!

Total weight gain: At the Big U/S appt with the substitute doc, I had gained 7, so a total of 13.  Although, that is ok and in range, I seem to be conscious of what I eat and make sure I exercise each day!  I don't want to get in trouble at our next appt.

Maternity clothes: Pants yes.  I can't actually fit in them now!

Sleep: Fine I suppose.  I can't seem to sleep past 6am though.  This is kind of gross but I wake up sweating so much!!!  Apparently, I am a furnace now!

Best moment last week: Our U/S and seeing our healthy baby girl, Ava.

Movement: I'm starting to notice a pattern.  Early in the morning I feel her slightly, mid-day after lunch she does her daily flutter kicks, and around 9pm.  It's the most amazing thing. Makes me smile every time!

Cravings: None really that I can think of.  ODD!

Belly Button in or out: Slowly creeping closer to the surface.

What I miss:  Sometimes I feel like this body is someone else's.  Each time I pass a mirror (not hard to do when they line the walls of my gym!) I think WHO IS THAT???  But it is worth it!

What I am looking forward to: More actual kicks and less flutters.  Although, I will probably regret this later!

Milestones: It is all down hill now!

How is daddy? He still the greatest!

How is Ava?  She knows I have a baby in my belly and makes the connection that Brody is her brother.  She prays for the baby and for Ava a big sister.  Sweetest prayer ever!

18 weeks and 5 days

Hi there! This is a little late, but better late than never!!!

How far along? 18w5d

How big is baby?   Average size: 5.6 inches, 6.7 oz.  A glorious Sweet TATA!!!

What is baby doing this week? thebump.com says  "Your fetus has become amazingly mobile (at least compared to you), passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking and swallowing. And, baby's finally big enough that you'll be able to feel those movements soon."

What is going on in mama? Babyzone.com says "By now you're feeling your baby-to-be wiggle inside you. The excitement surrounding her first movements will probably help you forget some of your pregnancy woes. As your tummy continues to expand you may notice stretch marks and have itchy skin. Your back will ache as your body adjusts to its new alignment. Thankfully, nausea is mostly likely a distant memory."
I am definatley growing that's for sure.  The women who didn't know I was pregnant at my gym, were in full comment force this week. Apparently, I got pregnant overnight!  Whoo-hoo no more chubby monkey!

Symptoms: Pregnancy brain!!!!

Total weight gain: Not sure exactly.  I have a guesstimate, but it has finally slowed down.

Exercise:  Honestly, not much working out.  Which has had me feeling good about that.  I can just enjoy the rest of the pregnancy and workout hard core the rest of my life!  And that WILL happen!

Maternity clothes: Um that or shirts I can still finagle to wear.

Sleep: Not fantastic, but not horrible so I can't complain.

Best moment last week: Drum roll please........I felt the baby. AND......We found out the gender.  I will reveal that after we have finished telling people in real life!

Movement: YES!!!!, slight flutters here and there.

Cravings: No new ones this week really.  I'm pretty much a creature of habit!

Belly Button in or out: Still in! Going to the shallow end of the pool though!

What I miss:

What I am looking forward to:

Milestones: Finally feeling Baby #2 consistently.

How is daddy: Happy as a clam!

Consigning, church, weekend over?

This weekend was a mixture of flying by and being relaxing at the same time.

Saturday morning, I headed out to work the consignment sale at our church! My shift was from 8:30-12:30. The last place I wanted to end up was with the check out and the money. Haha that's exactly where I ended up! And to be honest, I thought I would dread those 4 hours but I really had do much fun! I laughed and laughed with my fellow women from church about everything from kids to husbands to child birth to making fun of each other. God really used that time to show me I could really form relationships with these women that I just see on Sunday mornings.

I did purchase some maternity clothes that were much needed (I've grown out of the ones I have) and Ava a dress. There wasn't a lot to choose from in the 2T section for her.

I got home to a bonus room that was demolished but I loved it because Clint and Ava had a blast playing.

Sunday morning I got up and made cinnamon crumble bread and blueberry muffins for Sunday school class. They made the house smell so good!

We headed to church and it was a good one! I love how excited Ava gets about going! She starts spouting "I get I sing, and pray, and see my friends!"
Love that!

After church we picked up our items that didn't sell at the consignment sale and headed home. Clint and I weren't really hungry yet, shocking! So we watched tv while Ava napped and then we finally decided to just fend for ourselves. Salad for me! Can't get enough these days!

Some laundry happened, tv watching, Clint went out to do some work outside and Ava and I did a quick but sweaty 15 minute workout while watching "Gnomio and Juliet".

Supper was a chocolate chip pancake , free range eggs and turkey bacon kind of night. Can't every go wrong with this decision!!!

I hope y'all have a great day!

We find out the gender (hopefully, if "bear" cooperates) on Thursday!!
